Who we are

Nowadays Gold Coast Archery Club is a social community club, run entirely by volunteers who are archers themselves. We shoot outdoor target archery only, and we practice our skills in recurve, compound, barebow and longbow archery.

The club invites members from a large range of ages and abilities with members ages ranging from ten years to eighty plus. Archery is a sport that most people can participate in, including many with disabilities.  You do not have to have any physical attribute to become good at the sport so come along and have a go...its great fun and the members are friendly and supportive!

Archery can be enjoyed at many levels as a casual social activity or for the competitively minded at club, state, national and international level.

Gold Coast Archery Club Inc is proudly affiliated with SQAS the local Recognised Governing Body (RGB) and Archery Australia the national governing body for the sport in Australia. Archery Australia is affiliated with World Archery (FITA) the world governing body and is recognised by the Commonwealth Government through the Australian Sports Commission, all State Governments and the Australian Olympics Committee and the Australian Commonwealth Games Association.
