Come N Try/How to join
Come N Try days are your chance to come and give Archery a go. Come N Try session's are run in a calm manner and supervised by our senior archers.
Come N Try Sessions are held on the second Sunday of each month.
Cost for the Come N Try day is $50 per person. Each session will last for approximately 2 hours.
There is a minimum age limit of 10 years that we must adhere to. Anyone under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
If you wish, you can return to the Club for two more Sunday sessions within the following 4 weeks for only a $10 daily equipment hire charge. Having attended for two sessions, further Archery activity is dependent on membership with the Gold Coast Archery Club.
As space is limited you MUST book online.
Please do not buy any archery equipment until you have completed the come and try day and then spoken to the club coach about what to buy, as you can waste a lot of money buying the wrong gear.
TO BOOK ONLINE
To attend one of the Come N Try session/s please register via "REGISTER FOR EVENTS ONLINE - Come N Try - Register now" link on the right hand side of this web page, click on the date and follow the prompts.

Your booking will only be valid once registration and payment has been made for the session.
Please note that if you do not attend the session there are no refunds.
About the Sunday Come N Try session
The Come N Try session will begin at 11am for equipment setup and briefing. It is important you arrive no later than 11am so as to allow sufficient time for equipment fitting without delaying the shoot.
Shooting will commence at 11:30pm and typically finishes around 1:00pm. There will be assistance for you to become familiar and comfortable with the bow so you can enjoy the experience.
Closed footwear must be worn. No open footwear such as sandals or thongs is allowed under health and safety rules. Appropriate clothing should be worn; we would suggest a t-shirt with no beads or dangling objects as these may clip the bow string and damage both the equipment and your possessions.
We hope to see you soon!
